Jess Weichler is a media arts educator in Wellington, New Zealand. She works with non-profit organisations and schools to deliver technology programmes throughout the region.

Though she works in many different areas, Jess's focus is always on community, art, and working open. She hopes that even if her students never persue careers in technology that the skills they learn will benefit them for years to come.

A self-motivated, life-long learner, Jess is constantly seeking out new mediums to enrich herself and others. In 2013 she participated in a week-long Maker Boot Camp at the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh (USA). During this week-long professional development workshop she worked along-side peers and experts to discover new ways to implement making into classrooms.
